I had a great photo session with the Denney family over the weekend. We met early in the morning and it was a cloudy day which excited me since the lighting would be perfect. Not only was the lighting perfect, but the presence of this family was absolutely perfect too! I joked that they must have their children pose at home and time it because it seemed like smiling and making contact with the camera was second nature. I hope you enjoy the photos of this session of this sweet and adorable family!
In the photo above every single kid is eyeballing the ducks that would follow us around like dogs, wagging their back feathers and all.
Could this boy be any cuter?! This little guy is the baby in our circle of our friends and it’s probably sad for all of us to think that he is almost one. Where did that year go? His mom and I planned to do a little Safari photoshoot for his birthday that she could use to decorate his party with. She brought awesome props and made the car above out of cardboard! It was so adorable and filled with little details. Eli also has the most relaxed personality and let me take his photos while his mom finished getting herself ready for photos. I’m convinced she wakes up looking like a Goddess. Sorry we missed his dad due to him not feeling well. Sorry Jesse! Seriously, I could have eaten Eli up if I had a spoon.
A Lifestyle Photoshoot has been one of my favorite types of photography as you get a better glimpse of each person’s personality and get to spend most of your time playing. It’s less telling children to smile but catching their smiles while they are having a blast. I also love capturing the place you’ve made a home, and where you feel most comfortable. Since the del Valle’s are close friends of ours and I admire how cute their home is, and their children could basically be my niece and nephew I thought it’d be fun to do a lifestyle photoshoot at their humble abode. I’d say they all had fun that morning playing outside, jumping on beds, reading books, and showering each other with hugs and kisses.
The morning started off at a field across from the del Valle’s home. We were greeted by some black labs who had too much fun licking the children that we had to stop a few times to pick the children up and take the dogs back home. What kind of photoshoot would it be without some unplanned excitement?
We headed back indoors to hydrate ourselves, take a snack break, and then pump the children up to go jump on their parents bed! Oliver was excited to have my rule breaking self over. 😉
